My name is
Fernando
I have extensive experience teaching Spanish to immigrants, expats, and travelers who want to visit or live in Spanish-speaking countries.
After working with over 200 students and learning from dozens of English teachers, I’ve spent years trying to find the most effective way to teach a second language—and I’ve discovered that some things help more than others.

I’m 38 years old, from Argentina, and I’ve lived in Spain, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. Just like you, I’m a traveler. I’m also a writer and an artist. I studied Literature, and I love reading, playing electric guitar, decorating, and taking care of plants.
I try to teach the most universal Spanish possible — the kind that allows you to communicate across 21 countries and understand the 53 dialects that exist. For advanced students, I also teach the specific linguistic features of the
countries I’ve lived in. That’s my specialty.

Speaking a second language fluently feels like playing an instrument with other musicians — it’s something magical. But achieving that kind of effortless fluency isn’t as intuitive as it seems. There’s a lot of study and practice behind it. The same thing happens when you want to speak a new language comfortably: you need a clear method, a roadmap, a step-by-step plan to get there. Otherwise, you can spend years feeling stuck.
In our online lessons, you’ll speak a lot, and I’ll guide you through grammar and vocabulary as we talk — because the only way to truly learn a language is by applying it, by using it.

ABSOLUTE BEGINNER 180 DAYS
More than half of the students who came to me didn’t speak a word of Spanish in their first class. By the end of the program, they could speak quite well and confidently start conversations with anyone.
MOVING TO INTERMEDIATE 180 DAYS
This program is designed for you if you already know Spanish but struggle when speaking, particularly with the past tense and grammar uncertainties.
ELEVATE YOUR FLUENCY 180 DAYS
For intermediate students who don’t know how to stop being intermediate and become advanced, I have a strong program in grammar and speaking
